We are offering four days throughout the year just for ladies to have a day of clay shooting instruction with our professional shooting instructors. We specialise in teaching ladies to shoot in a relaxed and friendly environment within the comfort of our all weather stands. The course is tailored to your individual needs, whether you are a total beginner, a novice or a seasoned pro. The day starts coffee bacon rolls, pastries and a brief talk on gun handling and safety. Followed by shooting instruction on our grounds. At lunch we serve a lovely two course meal in the Old Barn, followed by more instruction in the afternoon. To end the day as we started we you will the finish with afternoon tea and cake! The cost of the day incudes hire of a gun (if needed) all your cartridges and clays, tuition and Lunch and refreshments. Perfect gift!! Vouchers available. Run during school holidays for youngsters to improve their shooting under the expert guidance of the Oxford Gun Company instructors. Tailored for groups of six, we assess each individual's level of shooting and work with them throughout the day to hone their skills. A competitive and fun day out.
This day will be aimed at young shots that are at a competent level but want to improve. This day will start at about 9:30am with a brief introduction in the shop you will then shoot through the morning with a break for refreshments, lunch will be at approximately 1pm with an educational video which will be followed by an afternoon of more challenging targets. Throughout the course we will work on improving your gun mounting, basic technique and different ways to hit those targets that get away!!! The day will then end at 4:30pm All welcome open to ages 12 to 21 £109 per person which includes gun hire, cartridges, clays, refreshments, lunch, protective clothing & full insurance. The ultimate game shooting experience for youngsters a two day course designed to give them a chance to learn how a game day should be. The first day is spent at the shooting school learning the etiquette of game shooting. We finish the day by a talk from the shoot game keeper.
Day two, we travel to local Estate for a day’s game shooting. You will beat 3 drives with the keepers, shoot 3 drives under our instructors supervision and pick up 3 drives with the Gamegoer Gundog team. This gives the opportunity to see how the day works from all sides. A truly memorable day out.
