We`re holding a full series of Open Shoots at Bredon School. These are 50-bird sporting shoots, run by the pupils of Bredon School - so do come along and support this thriving school shooting ground, with prizes in overall, ladies and juniors categories.
So why not come and join us for a great day, shooting at this stunning school near Tewkesbury, with stunning views of the river Severn and surrounding countryside!

Our Macmillan Cancer Support Cake and Clays sessions last week raised a fantastic £230 for this wonderful and worthwhile charity.

On Saturday 15th October, we`re hosting the Finders Keepers Charity Shoot 2016, in aid of Breast cancer Care!
All ability levels welcome, with Have-A-Go entry at £30, and competition entry shoots at £25.

On Friday 30th and Saturday 1st October we`re holding a special Macmillan Cancer Support Cake & Clays event, with breakfast and cream teas, all in aid of this great cause!
The Saturday includes a Have-A-Go day, so why not introduce someone new to our sport, and donate to Macmillan at the same time!

We`re excited to announce that at our Festival of Shooting on 24th September, Matt French will be offering have-a-go sessions.
Matt is the Commonwealth Games Silver medalist, 3 x British Champion, and has also just set a British record and equalled the World Record shooting 148 ex 150!
So come down to The Oxford Gun Company on Saturday 24th September, and join us for a great day out!

What a fantastic month we had with the Browning August competition!
We`ve seen over 200 shooters come along from all over the world, including Germany, Sweden, and Australia. They took part in the Browning 100 sporting challenge, Browning Rabbit Mania and the pool shoot. The course was set up to test a variety of shooters, from competitive clay shooters, to our club members and novices - all designed by the Oxford Gun Company’s new Grounds Manager Tom Howe.
The winner of the Open was Jim Forsberg from Sweden, shooting 93 ex 100, taking home a Browning 525 shotgun.
The Junior winner was James Bradley-Day, with 86 ex 100, also taking home a Browning 525 Shotgun.
The Ladies winner was also an overseas visitor - Angelika, shooting 77 ex 100 and taking home 750 Winchester shells.
David Stapley from Browning UK said: "It`s great to see shooters coming from all over the world to take part in The Browning August Challenge - it has been the best event to-date, in partnership with The Oxford Gun Company, and we`re looking forward to next year!"

Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a shooting instructor to join our team to work at Bredon School in Gloucestershire, for two days per week, in a hugely rewarding position teaching youngsters of all ages to shoot!

A great day out for the whole family, our Oxford Festival of Shooting is on 24th September.
There`s some great prizes, with a Browning Auto Trap High Gun prize, a Hatsan Semi Auto for 2nd place and a BSA Air Rifle 3rd place.
There`s have-a-go Shooting, Archery, Crossbows, Axe Throwing, Air rifles, Bear Grylls Survival Academy, along with Drone displays, ferret racing, pets` corner and a Gun Dog display!
Over £4500 worth of prizes!
Held in October and November, this competition is open to individuals in education aged 21 and under.
